MIC's Club 60 Get-together - August 2023

The Maroondah Indian Community (www.micommunity.com.au) is organising another amazing get-together for parents and grandparents of the Indian community. The club is open to all community members of Indian origin, regardless of their region, religion, or place of residence.

We will have a packed agenda for our fifth gathering, which includes the following items:

• Meet and greet, welcome new members.  ------------------------------------------------ -------3.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
• Talk from a Council representative on senior citizen support(incl Q&A)- -----------4.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
• Tea and coffee, as well as delicious cafe snacks. ---------------------------------------------4.30p.m. to 5.00p.m.
• A talk by a phsiotherapist on bodily postures relevant to seniors(incl Q&A)-------5.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
• Games and activities ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5.30p.m. to 6.30p.m.

Following are the event details:

• 19th August 2023 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm (3 hours)
• Arrabri Community House, 42 Allambanan Dr, Bayswater North VIC 3153, Australia
• Transport: Self (a short walk/bus ride from Bayswater train station)
• Ticket Price: $10 for snacks and non-alcoholic drinks
• Food: The ticket price includes vegetarian snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. We encourage you to bring food if you have special dietary requirements.
• Activities: Presentations, Talks, Tambola, Party games and Music. We'll also celebrate birthdays and anniversaries in August.
• Bring your own water bottle and $5 for Tambola. Please also bring snacks if you have special dietary requirements.
